Baklava

Baklava is a rich, sweet pastry made of layers of filo dough, filled with chopped nuts (often walnuts, pistachios, or almonds), and sweetened with honey or syrup. It’s a popular dessert in many Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Balkan cuisines.
